One of the most sublime ways to experience the Okavango Delta is in a mokoro, a traditional canoe. Xigera Camp – a water wonderland surrounded by channels – is the perfect place at which to do so. A mokoro ride is a great complement to traditional game drives as you are low enough to enjoy close-up views of the smaller treasures of the Delta, ranging from tiny frogs to water lilies.
